Moxy Charleston Downtown Hotel

It was clean, everyone was pleasant and exceptional. The location was great for Charleston, right by downtown and the citadel as well as Charleston. I tried some drinks at brew pub Baker And Brewer, located 10 minutes walk away.

Excellent stay for a weekend outing

Clean hotel, friendly staff, with a powerful shower, made our stay comfortable, and we enjoyed the lovely room deck with ping pong and hanging chairs after a long day of exploring, located conveniently just 20 km from the nearest airport.

The stuff are exceptional, no complaints.

The room was very clean, which I really appreciated. The shower setup was nice and made showering easy.

The rooftop bar is a blast with fine views and chill vibes. The free drink token at check-in is a sweet perk. The communal areas have fun games like ping pong and cornhole, perfect for hanging out with friends or making new ones.

Stayed at moxy for our anniversary and loved it! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the historic district. We were welcomed with champagne and decorations, made our special day even better. The staff was amazing!

We enjoyed a fun weekend with our family. The lively atmosphere kept the kids engaged, but it was a letdown when the bar closed early. Pro tip, check dining hours ahead of time for a smoother experience.

It was just a fine choice for a brief hiatus in Charleston with all in all great value for money. The valet service was fast and helpful, providing great local tips . Make sure to ask about the free city bus shuttle for easier transportation around the area.

The room setup felt bizarre with no chairs. It was cramped with two beds placed foot to foot, forcing one person to climb over the other during the night. The lack of bedside tables or surfaces for personal items, such as phones or glasses of water, was inconvenient. The noise levels from the bar and neighboring rooms disrupted sleep, and the chaotic layout of the area outside didn't feel safe for walking at night.

The Corner King Room was pretty cool. Super comfy bed and the decor had a modern vibe. It felt spacious and stylish, a nice touch. I liked the little surprises like themed decor too. The bathroom was nice, loved the shower setup! Although it didn't have a fridge, it was still a solid stay overall.
